I broke my rule about not putting exclamation points in thread titles.

Anyway, on the new Games for Windows Live Marketplace they have reduced the price of Fable: The Lost Chapters. The game that started it all, with the expansion. Originally it was £15 when they re-launched but now it is going for a mere £4.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 which is a pretty good price. Granted this is a much better deal for those of us in the UK (and possibly Europe) as we get shafted on conversion rates but this time it seems to be the US. It's unclear if this is a sale or their new price, but all I know is £4.99 is a good price to pay for this game. So click here to go to the page. You can sign in with your gamertag and pay in either Microsoft points or a card. It was 640 points and that might be universal, so maybe cheaper for other countries in points.

    I bought it. Will you?

I do too but... I'm a sucker for re-buying console games on PC. I can't play TLC in HD with my Xbox version but on PC I can do whatever resolution I want.

Only if you intend to play it though. Most of my PC purchases are games I will never play.

Turns out the video options don't take effect until you jump in to the game. I was sitting in the menu wondering why it wasn't changing.... weird.

I got Fable for xbox, and TLC for PC a while ago, so I'm good.

Definitely worth a purchase if you haven't played it by now.

The PC version sure does look pretty.
