i enjoyed Fable II while it lasted, which wasn't very long. i haven't played it since. i hope they make this one longer with more things to do once the main story is over. And make it an open world.

Fable 2 was a great game but not as good as Fable. Hopefully they extend the length of the game and go back to the roots of the first one.

It should be no surprise that a Fable 3 will be coming, but I really hope they don't rush out a sequel. I would also prefer to see something new and original from Lionhead in between Fable 2 and 3...

I'd rather have some more DLC for Fable II. Fable III imo should wait until the next gen maybe?

Look, Moleneaux, I could probably convince myself to like Fable if i really wanted to. However, Why don't you actually make the game you keep on promising us this time? We have two Fables to distract ourselves, so take your time with this one. You've given us all of these promises over the years. Just start developing this for next generations consoles, and go all out on it. If the player drops a sword on the way from one village to another, they should have the oppourtunity to go by it years later and see a rusted sword that they can pick up again and fix, unless another warrior walked through and took it for his own. They should be able to do the tree thing you promised for fable 2. You should be able to take control of your son once your character dies. Just don' t bring it out before you are completely satisfied, allright?

Fable 2 made a ton of money...obviously, there will be a sequel.  I'd prefer a better form of communication than the gesture system they've been employing over the last two versions.  I'm not asking for Mass Effect depth, just something more than thumbs up and farts.

On the one hand, this is a pretty big E3 announcement that was spoiled.  On the other hand, at this point that's like saying "WE'RE MAKING ANOTHER GEARS!".  This is something that everyone saw coming eventually.

I'm excited. Fable II might not have been the best game ever, but it was still a pretty darn good game.

They might have said something along the lines of "a new fable" or "the next fable", and Ross assumed they meant Fable 3, when it could actually be a Fable 2 expansion or DLC, which seems far more likely. If fable 3 is in development, I highly doubt its far enough into development for them to be thinking about voice actors.

Not that big of a surprise. But I am excited for it. I hope they don't stop doing Fable 2 DLC to work on Fable 3 though.

Never played the first two Foilbes.  Probably good that I haven't tried it...too many games as it is.

Hope it doesn't take as long as fable 2 to dissapoint

Fable II was great. I loved it; not everyone did but I really enjoyed it. I hope the next one comes but I have no rush to play it. Let them take their time.

Confirmed:  when Fable 3 comes outs someday, it will be on a disc of some form.
