Yup...UGO is reporting that Fairytale Fights does in fact have in its test build an achievement that rewards Killing 1,000 Children. Now I'm not saying this is bad, I'm not saying that this is going to lead to issues...I'm just reporting that the game has and achievement that informs players when they have killed 1,000 children. The best part of UGO's interview with Playlogic's producer (Playlogic being the studio developing the game) was how he thought Germany, a nation on the edge of passing a violent video game ban, might react.

The Germans won't think it's too funny when they find out the achievement name is "Pre-pubescent Holocaust"

What? I am probably gonna play this anyway, mostly because I like the art style (reminds me of Psychonauts), so I'll get to see this achievement  in context. I don't belive for 1 second the ESRB or PEGI is gonna pass a game that requests you to slaughter 1000 children just for points/gamerscore.

They already alluded to this in the Quick Look.

That's great, and they should do everything possible to stick to it.

It's not that hard to kill 1,000 children

It's a funny achievement, nothing more. It's hardly a 'child murder simulator' or anything close to it. It's a light hearted game and absolutely; I would kill 1000 children for an achievement at a moments notice. 

It's not like it was a serious, realistic game, 
It's just a funny achievment

Whoa...why didn't I hear about this game?  This looks fucking SWEET...and plus, I'm TOTALLY down for an achievement to kill 1,000 kids.  I won't comment why, but I will say that when you deal with enough dumbass kids over the course of a day, it would be nice to sit down and kill a few in a virtual world.  = D
