Best guns are custom guns .. made by modders

I'm going to be curious to see what crazy weapons they bring in with Mothership Zeta. You just know that the aliens are going to bring some bigger firepower than a pistol with them.

I don't mean to bump this, to be honest I forgot about this thread that I made. But with all the DLC that was released I wanted to know what new guns you all like, if there are any new ones in the DLC, as you can tell I haven't played them.

I have a few categories for the best guns in Fallout 3. They are all somewhat related but I want to put it out there because I really, really love some weapons:
 
Most used gun: A3-21's Plasma Rifle - I have about 3000+ ammo for it and I don't really need it because the damage is great. It's always my go-to gun and occupies my primary shortcut button.
Favorite gun: Lincoln's Repeater - It's like a Hunting Rifle and a Magnum, only better!! I love the damage it does to raiders and mutants and its sweet reload animation.
Most surprising gun: Alien Blaster - Use this baby in Mothership Zeta and you can take down every alien with one hit. It's awesome. 
Most bizarre gun: Microwave Emitter - From the Point Lookout add-on, this gun is pretty sweet because it usually blows up heads of enemies with a simple wave. It really shocked me honestly.
Most awesome gun: Experimental MIRV - Yeah, you know why.

Lincolns Repeater is easily the best weapon in the game.

I use the A3-21 almost exclusively.  Lots of ammo and lots of stock plasma rifles for easy repairs.  It deals good damage when it hits.  On really long range shots I usually go with Lincoln's repeater because the bullet is a lot faster.

" I can't pick just one...  I guess the Xuanlong Assault Rifle is my weapon of choice.  Good damage, big clip, fairly accurate and pretty durable.  I'd like the Victory and Reservist more if they weren't so fragile.  The Lincoln Repeater is also loads of fun for poppin' skulls. "

I like shotguns, so the Terrible Shotgun for me. The blaster has barely any ammo, unlike shotguns.

"i found a sweet alien gun when i was walking around today, i got a radio signal for a recon ship, and looked around and theres a hung crashed alien ship, i walked up to it and theres a alien laying there dead, it has a gun next to it, and some ammo for it (and i think thats the only ammo for the gun you can get)and this gun is insane, i cant remember, but it does somewhere between 60-80 damage..very good..go find it "

Hunting Rifle FTW.
 
Also the Chinese Officer Sword, that was rad, made me feel like a post-nuclear ninja.

Lincoln Repeater for sure. It's just way too good.

Does this forum only accept answers to vanilla weapons or does this include the mods?

Pretty fond of the Metal Blaster right now, which is a gun that's found in The Pitt - you trade steel ingots for it. I use it outside of VATS, since it fires 9 beams, all of which can critical separately. Add the Better Critical perk and the Sneak bonus and you have fun times.
