The Pitt is now coming in March, while Broken Steel has been pushed to April :(

    http://www.gamespot.com/news/blogs/sidebar/909182374/26772371/fallout-3-dlc-slips-a-month.html

    For those who forgot:

    • The Pitt takes place in Raider-occupied Pittsburgh and has you stepping into the middle of some sort of conflict there. More traditional than OpAnch, dialogue trees + NPCs, and moral choices
    • Broken Steel extends the main story, allow free-play past the current hard ending, and also increases the level cap to 30, as opposed to the current 20.

I sold my Xbox 360 version in hopes that I would buy the PC version, so I don't mind the wait. I'll get it all sweet and bundled together. Gameoftheyearedition.

This game is alot like oblivion...the only thing it needs is the shit load of stuff oblivion has to offer as compared to this game, which has like 35 quests...oblivion has like a million.

I'm actually happy. It means I won't have to divide time between GTAIV The Lost and Damned and Fallout 3.

That's OK for me. I am glad I haven't finished it yet. Still, it sucks for those expecting it soon. Like Jayge^

Hopefully the extra time will make these better than the first DLC.

Well that sucks.  I really enjoyed Operation: Anchorage and was really looking forward to The Pitts this month.  Oh well, I'll have KIllzone 2 to occupy my free time.

As disappointing as it may be.. hopefully it means that there is going to be a little bit more to. Sounds like there is with dialogue trees etc in the Pitt. And of course Broken Steel is going to offer many more options.

It's clearly a business decision.  Get people to buy Operation Anchorage and then The Pitt...then release new DLC which offers new content and ups the level cap to 30.  Gotta keep people playing and paying, you know.

Totally does make sense but now that I've reached my level cap I'm going to just wait for the Broken Steel DLC then buy the Pitt at the same time.

It's more likely a development strategy.  Raising the level cap and fixing the ending requires code that works w/ all the existing content.  W/ The alaska deal being mostly self contained, DLC modules like that require less testing and planning.  But content that changes the level cap, adds new skills/perks etc.. requires more extensive testing since you have to test all back filled content.

I wish I would have waited. I'm not playing Operation Anchorage since I'm already at level 20 and it's a waste of XP to play through it.

This is a good thing actually. It's giving Bethesda a month for each DLC pack to fine tune it. I'd rather wait an extra few months and play an amazin DLC then get it instantly and have it be shitty.

I'm fine with it.  It gives them more time to fine tune it as natetodamax said.
