    Does deleting a a DLC get rid of any weapons you got from there?

    I'm not sure, but I'm guessing yes, since DLC weapon graphics are within the DLC

    Deleting DLC that you have played through with a character will corrupt that character file and make it unplayable, from what I understand.

    doesnt strictly corrupt it, but does render it unplayable untill you reinstall the dlc

    Actually, I read somewhere that for the PC version the game will not boot up. But a simple console command (which removes the DLC content from your save) fixes the issue.

    It will make the save file unplayable if you have quite a few things to do with said dlc on, and running at the time.

    Back in the dizay, my Oblivion DLC was tied to another xbox.  I was on vacation and didn't have internet, so when I loaded my character he was naked because his armor was all DLC.  The game still ran but I was missing all of my stuff.
