    No you do not. But you can have the light on your pip boy brighter. Hold the button that brings up the pipboy menu.

    Okay thanks for the info! That helps so much! One last question while I have you. What is the best way to get rid of your radiation? Apparently I am sitting at 985... which I have found out means I die if I get exposed to 15 more ticks.

    @EightBitShik: see a doctor and pay them caps to get rid of it. When you have that much radaway just doesn't cut it anymore.

    @drag: I sat in water for a long time. I don't remember why I did it but I thought it was for a quest maybe? I don't know I played the game a long time ago and I"m just now trying to give it a real go. I have no clue what I'm doing in this game though heh.

    You can go to a lot of the vendors in the game and also purchase Rad Away, and you pick up a lot of the stuff throughout the game. Littlem ore expensive then a doctor but that tway if you get radiated you don't have to go back to the doc every single time.
