Now I installed Fallout 3 through steam and for some reason it won't work when i try to start a new game. Click on new game it immediatly crashes. I've never had this problem before and it used to work just fine on my pc. i have no clue what could be wrong and any insight to this would be helpful.

It's probably some issue with Games for Windows Live. But, just in case, try the following.

    1) Quit out.

    2) Watch Thundercats.

    3) Load up DOS Box.

    3) Wait for the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man to come by.

    4) Fake Tweet a picture of him.

    5) Load Law of the West.

    6) Come back and reload the game.

[somewhere in those steps, go into the game's properties and verify the game content]

What OS are you running? I know Steam used to have a warning for users running Vista.
