How many hours have you put into Fallout 3?

#201 Posted by thehideousshrew (206 posts) -

I got me 90 hours having finished with with Really good Karma and now I'm about 25 hours in being an evil fucker and killing and robbing everyone that I buy things from or get things repaired by. Destroying Megaton was so much fun, glad I waited.

#202 Posted by Th3_James (2578 posts) -

176 total. still playing it. lol

#203 Posted by Creamypies (4065 posts) -

Across all my characters I've clocked around 160 hours... holy shit.

And I'm still missing a whole bunch of achievements... there's even like 2 quests I ain't done yet.

THAT GAME IS TOO BIG!

#204 Posted by mano521 (1224 posts) -

#205 Posted by TheDuke (231 posts) -

For some reason, i could never unlock a main story acheivment on 360. I played through 5 differant times, and never unlocked it. Also the super mutant brute acheivment glitched on me. so i gave up

@Th3_James: Which quest was it for?
#208 Posted by Th3_James (2578 posts) -

scientific pursuits

#209 Posted by Demyx (3237 posts) -

2 characters, like 30 hours

#210 Posted by Druminator (1678 posts) -

58 hours right now. Going for every mission....

#211 Posted by cokecan (5 posts) -

50 hours with my first character and 20 with my second (still playing that one)

#212 Posted by DystopiaX (5310 posts) -

over 500, 100-150 of those being my first character. I don't really have a main, I just finish the game (100% or close) with every new character i play.
My favorite was my no-kill one. It was interesting and challenging to run through the game either stealthed, speech challenging, or running away from all of the enemies/challenges.

#213 Posted by ryeguy489 (117 posts) -

Around 180, love that game

Madness!
#215 Posted by PNut_Buttr_Panda (486 posts) -

last i checked i was around 98 hours. lol i still gotta finish the last 2 dlc packs and find all of the frign ingots in the pit lol

#216 Posted by Nemesis (317 posts) -

Around 30 or so. I still think the game is vastly overrated (it is still good so fanboys can GTFO). There are so many problems which are overlooked, but if any other game has that problem it is scrutinized. One of the many stupid inconsisties in the games industry.

And that is why folks, games can never be considered art.

#217 Posted by smfE (31 posts) -

I think i put about 60 hours into my first character which was evil (yeah it was my first play-through lol). And on my 2nd i've got about 100 now and i'm trying ot make him good :)

#218 Posted by Whisperkill (2969 posts) -

around 100. Which is a lot to me. Although I probably have around 200 in Oblivion

#219 Posted by Alphiehyr (1083 posts) -

80 Hours on PC
0 Hours on 360
20 Hours on PS3

#220 Posted by NikoAlexander57 (359 posts) -

I've spent about 100 hours in game. Damn bobble heads...and unique weapons...and goodies....GOODIES!

#221 Posted by dylanderoo (155 posts) -

got it on 360 and pc
360; i think about 100
pc (withmods) : about 250

im a nerd.

#222 Posted by drowsap (681 posts) -

114 thats after i did every quest and all DLC took me a year to do lol

#223 Posted by J0n3s1 (295 posts) -

About 90 hours.

#224 Posted by nywt (439 posts) -

Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 hours. That's with one character playing the main game and Operation Anchorage and some of The Pit.

#225 Posted by HODGEY3000 (344 posts) -

60 hours
#226 Posted by RedneckedCrake (311 posts) -

Around 60 hours with my first character. Still need to get all the bobbleheads though, so mine as well tack on some more.

#227 Posted by MAguilera (90 posts) -

I'm in the mid 140s, but that includes two complete playthroughs and getting all of the achievements.  I am glad that they have stopped putting out DLC so I can start saving up for New Vegas.  Aside from the Orange Box, this is probably the best value I have gotten from a game in this generation.

#228 Posted by CornontheCobbe (2645 posts) -

106: 37:34 was when i completed every DLC, misison and side mission.

#229 Posted by GoombahMIke (54 posts) -

227 hours all told. That's including all the DLC, though.

Holy shit that's a lot.

Not quite sure the exact number myself. In my main character I've docked around 70 hours with the main storyline and three of the DLC, as well as all of the side quests. Haven't gotten the the bobble heads yet, which is next on my list.
#231 Posted by SonicFire (821 posts) -

Even having done all DLC...only 60 or so hours...not near what I spent on Oblivion

#232 Posted by Organicalistic_ (2954 posts) -

203:23:05 I checked as well

#233 Posted by WickedFather (1733 posts) -

15 wasted hours before I realised I'd blighted my gamerscore history with this crap.

#234 Posted by Jai92 (25 posts) -

130 hours at least. I spent the majority of that on my first character, then started a new game and did about 20 hours or so, as I wanted to see the nuke go off :)

#235 Posted by eisenhorn2k7 (22 posts) -

i played it through once, i dont remember time played, but i do remember when i finished i  immediately wanted my money back...

#236 Posted by rjayb89 (7722 posts) -

Over 200.  Glad I uninstalled this not too long ago.

LOL, it sure is a time-waster. I mean, one minute it's five in the afternoon, then it's five in the morning. Yikes! :S
#238 Posted by Duecenage (213 posts) -

Crapload. about 20 hours on the PS3.. then I swapped over to get the DLC earlier.. and  I have no clue how many hours I spent there. Looking forward to dropping in a metric shit-tonne into New Vegas!

#239 Edited by Rebirth1337 (795 posts) -
Main save was over 120 Hours. I've had about five other side games at around 15-34 Hours each. I LOVED Fallout. It would probably scare me if I actually added up all the hours I played fallout. I know it's in the 220+ range.
#240 Posted by VoshiNova (1688 posts) -

I've put in about 200 hours between my all my loads.....

Kind of ridiculous, but Fallout is huge.

#241 Posted by Hourai (2795 posts) -

Probably about 50-60. I got midway through the main story on two different characters, and then beat it a few months ago with my third.

#242 Edited by SJSchmidt93 (4895 posts) -

35-40, then I reformatted and lost my save. Never went back.

#243 Posted by NikoAlexander57 (359 posts) -

About 90 hours. It was the game I played the most that is not WoW. Talking about the hours on that is embarassing

#244 Posted by StillVictor (150 posts) -

I think I put 100 hours total, including DLC.

#245 Posted by Kyreo (4600 posts) -

One save I have 120 hours, another I have 160 hours, and in three other minor saves I have maybe a total of 35 hours.

*doesmath*

315 hours of gameplay on Fallout 3 total.

I plan to sink 400 into New Vegas.

#246 Posted by Apparatus_Unearth (3150 posts) -

Lots and lots of hours but now my save file is deleted.

#247 Posted by Ben99 (1135 posts) -

I donnu :( but I l beat the game though.

#248 Posted by WickedCobra03 (2106 posts) -

7 or so hours in and just completed the Museum and finding the thing inside.

I bought this game like the Easter after it came out thinking I would get time during Easter break, but got busy and then tried played it again last summer, but gave up due to all of the rubble not letting you go where you want.  I hated that I would have to walk all the way around the map just to get there.  But I guess the other day I said, hey, I am just going to let the game give me this stipulation and now am kind of enjoying it.

I hate playing a game and feel like there is no forward progress.

#249 Posted by MiamiRedHawks (914 posts) -

It's sad, but I haven't actually played fallout 3. I 'm planning on picking up the GOTY edition soon though.
