    Like if i am overencumbered can I leave some stuff on the ground and come back for it later?

    If not where can I stash my junk?

    As far as I know.....yes, it will stay there if you leave it.  I've dropped things and came back and got them later.  I don't know how long they will stay there so I would hurry.

    I believe it will stay for a while, you can get a house in Megaton if you chose to save it.
