More of a question then advice, but. i have just been strait up killing every buddy in the game (for the most part) so far its been well worth it. for example i killed the Over Seer, i Killed Ferdy (left his mom alive so she could surfer the pain of loosing a child! hey if im going to be evil im going all out!)  i killed the entire town of Arefu, i killed the family. now im starting to think my blood lust needs to slow down a bit. i mean i dont want to kill the wrong merchent or sales men. i want to make sure i avoid killing people who will benefit me. so any thoughts?

I'd avoid killing the main cities, especially rivet city. it's where i go to stock up on ammo.

There are other ways to plummet your Karma rating. Theft and choosing the evil routes in quests will do the job just as easily as killing the helpless.

I did the exact same thing and now i cant complete the nuka cola challenge and strictly business because the quest characters are dead. (Christian Bale voice) WE ARE DEAD! WE ARE ALL DEAD!!!!!!! (lol what a terrible movie)

What I did to start off my bad karma character was kill every resident of Megaton, set off the nuke, kill every resident of Tenpenny Tower, and let the ghouls in. I don't think I have any worries about my karma level switching to neutral anytime soon.

You can send Bryan Wilks to Paradise Falls to be a slave if you want and you can also send kids from Little Lamplight there I think.

Killing sprees are fun but not great when the killing spree's over and you've got not no one to do quests for or no direction to go in.

To be honest the best kind of evil on this game is to just kill 1 or 2 people and then the rest make their lives as hard and as miserable as possible. And sometimes being bad doesn't always mean you're making your karma down but just doing funny things like standing infront of one of them tramps outside the cities that's begging for water then you just chug a few then start throwing some at him because his stupid ass AI brain doesn't know what to do.

I killed every major civilization when i was level 18 to get enough XP to get to 20 well worth it.

If you're blowing Megaton up do all the quests, it doesn't matter about that survival book quest because she survives as a ghoul.

Keep the main cities alive, especially Rivet City.

Rivet City is a real shithole, no different than Megaton or the infamous Tenpenny Tower. If only there were more settlements or merchants.

Slaughter those motherfucking hippies in Oasis.  Goddamn treehuggers got that shit coming to them.  Make that your home and feast on their corpses.  Their goddamn hippie fucking corpses.
