Clearly this game was not ready to be released.

I might be a huge fallout fan, and fallout 3 was one of the better games iv played in a while.

But gawd damn.. all theese "bugs" is killing me.

Why do i need to use 3rd party software and a directx 9 dll for the game to rune somwhat smooth on my rig.

2x ATI HD 5770 Xtreme Edition
AMD Phenom 2 Hexacore 2,8 ghz
8 gb ram

I must be really lucky, because I have so far encountered zero game breaking bugs and only a surprisingly few couple of minor glitches.

With that PC, you should be able to run it perfectly fine with the DLL hotfix. I have a much worse PC and I'm running it at constant 60FPS with everything on max, with (barely) no problems. What do you mean by "somewhat smooth"?

Also, @zegolf: This.

You shouldn't have to, but since they are there why not use them? I've had a painless experience, very few bugs. Sure, you'll probbably run in to quite a few but no use holding off if you have already bought it.

Even though there are some bugs in this game, it's still great imo.

what the hell are you talking about? I only have one 5770, phenom X4 quadcore and the game is running fine for me...

It's been fine so far for me.

But I still want a PS3 patch soon.

I haven't encountered one noticeable bug yet.  I didn't run into that many bugs in Fallout 3 either.  Maybe I am just one of the lucky ones.

Your obviously not a "huge Fallout fan" if your not playing this game, which is easily better than Fallout 3. Whine, whine whine.

Gamebryo engine and Obsidian...yeah I knew I'd love the game, but knew I'd love it more if I just got the goty version a year from now.

You know its allowed to be a fan of something and still call out the faults in it right? Im a big Fallout fan and i played F3 for over 300 hours. But i still call New Vegas a sloppy piece of shit, when it comes to the performance of the game, and the development.

There is no excuse for such a bug ridden game, and just cause i'm a fan doesn't mean they get a free pass.
