Fallout: New Vegas, a look at the achievements
well some great news there: judging by the achievements therell be a lot of quests which is also great and also vaultboys are now obsolete its all about the SNOW GLOBES!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
Not sure I like the look of the deal 10000 damage with various weapon types. Kinda forces me to play the game a way I did not want to. never use explosives and that could be a bitch to grind out. Maybe not though, depends how much an average attack is doing. Also there is an achievement for beating it on hardcore and that could be hard. Good thing I was already planning a hardcore playthrough. Also the points are really spread out. You dont see many games that do that, usually there is at least 3 achievements worth like 50-100 points. overall it looks pretty good, I cannot wait to play this game.
Right now I'm just praying it'll be an awesome game, I absolutly loved Fallout III. :)
Dealing 10,000 damage with all weapon types might be a chore for me, but everything else seems pretty cool to get. I hope I can S-Rank this one.
Alright, so here's what we can gather:
- There is a Hardcore mode...but will it be unlocked from the beginning?
- More than likely, multiple playthroughs will be necessary to S-Rank it (since you can't play the game after you've beaten it...unless you just keep a game going without beating it)
- I like that they called it "10th", "20th", and "30th" level. Also, it means we know there is a level cap of 30.
- The titles of the quests are pulled directly from all kinds of different quotes and references, which could be a small tell-all of what each quest would entail. For instance, one quest is called "Render Unto Caesar", which could be a quest about taking down some government control or something. Another one is called "Arizona Killer", which is a rewritten folk song of "The Tennessee Killer", could involve going out and killing different people in order to gain specific items for someone close to you.
Overall, though, I know I'll be working for an S-rank. However, I still haven't gotten the one for Fallout 3...or Oblivion...because I'm lazy as well.
