I see what Jeff was talking about...

#1 Posted by Lukeweizer (2683 posts) -

When I heard Jeff going off about busted the game was... I didn't know what to think. But after seeing this video, I see what he's referring too.

I got it yesterday, but haven't played it. And now I'm kinda scared to.

It's 3am and I'm trying SO HARD to hold my laughter in....

#5 Posted by MysteriousBob (6272 posts) -

His voice is really creepy. I'm sure I've seen the twisted head glitch in Fallout 3 as well.

I'm getting this game tomorrow and I'm worried because as long as I'm at uni, I can't connect to XBL to download patches.

#6 Posted by Bucketdeth (8012 posts) -

Haha, I never ran into to many bugs in Fallout 3 but this game seems to be full of them.

I'll get it around Christmas when it's patched up,

#7 Posted by MasterOfPenguins_Zell (2093 posts) -

Oh man, I wish that had happened to me. Amazing.

#8 Posted by TheSeductiveMoose (3617 posts) -

I got the spinning head bug a lot in Fallout 3, it seems to be most common among the children of Little Lamplight, which makes it even more terrifying.

But the creepiest bug I got was when Walther in Megaton lost his eyes and teeth, his face just looked like a mask. He then started to spawn right next to me whenever I would enter a new location.

thats the PC copy too.
warning for anyone who was trying to avoid bugs by shying away from the console version.

#10 Posted by Jeffsekai (7032 posts) -

Best blowjob ever? or Greatest blowjob ever?

#11 Posted by arab_prince (2053 posts) -

WTF! I'm glad its soo buggy since its exam time for me. Once it's fixed I'll make sure to buy it :)

#12 Posted by eroticfishcake (7786 posts) -

That's solid GOLD!

I knew this game will be buggy but oh man that's pretty crazy. I wasn't super fond of Fallout 3 considering the bugs that plagued it so I'll gather it'll be the same story with this. I'll be sure to pick it up later though when it's less broken.

#13 Posted by CaptainObvious (2998 posts) -

I don't know what you're talking about, this is great.

#14 Posted by eezo (284 posts) -

i don't know if i'm correct but... it seems that most of these glitches and bugs are in the console versions, i played the game 4-5 hours straight last night and i didn't encounter ONE glitch or bug (this was on the pc ofcourse)

Don't count on it, much.

That bugged intro make that game look so much creepier, Survival Horror games should take note.

OHHHHHHH GOD.

The only problem I ever had with Fallout 3 was lock-ups, never anything this FUBAR.

That is wicked, creepy, and hilarious!

Fallout 3 was one of the buggiest games I've ever played, but nothing ruined it for me. IF anything, it just made things funnier. Like my repeater which decided to send all enemies about 1000 feet into the air whenever I used it. Or how Ghouls never attack me despite not even having the ghoul mask in my inventory.

They announced that they will be fixing the bugs with a patch as soon as possible, this is what they had to say.  But I do agree that sometimes bugs can be awesome, they even added charm to Fallout 3 in my opinion.

"We are currently working on releasing patches/updates as quickly as possible for Fallout: New Vegas, for all platforms," Hines said via e-mail. "Announcements regarding the patches are forthcoming."

That just further proves that Obsidian is not fully at fault for the bugs, and it's the engine.
#23 Posted by GoofyGoober (937 posts) -

That would have scared me shitless if I saw that while playing.

#24 Posted by Sticky_Pennies (2019 posts) -

I'm going to buy the shit out of it after the first patch, and on the PC, for that matter. It seems buggier on the consoles for once.

#25 Posted by TheFreeMan (2712 posts) -

what the fucking

#26 Posted by pornstorestiffi (4915 posts) -

I will get the game when they have released a couple of patches for it. I have been seeing and reading some horrible stuff about the issues in this game.

#27 Posted by sagesebas (2003 posts) -
@SeriouslyNow: Dude I know that was hilarious
#28 Posted by Malakhii (1443 posts) -

Glitches are always funny, until the game starts breaking.

#29 Posted by RsistncE (4496 posts) -

WOW. It's so bad it looks almost intentional because combined with the eerie music and atmosphere you'd think they were shooting for horror....

#30 Posted by fentonalpha (819 posts) -

I have only encountered serious clipping issues.... one where i had to kill all monsters in an area but could not because they fell through the map... bahhh...  oh and it did freeze once... right after i saved thinking i should in case it freezes.

#31 Posted by RandomInternetUser (6789 posts) -

WHAT IS THI- PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T KILL ME, SIR!

#32 Posted by JJWeatherman (14558 posts) -

This ... only lockups nothing else (guess I was lucky)

@MysteriousBob:

Well, for every good bug, there's bound to be 2 bad ones, or so that's what it sounds like.

I'll laugh at spinning-head glitch for a while, but that really would get old if it kept happening to me, or if my dog moonwalked away and I couldn't stop him.
