I already own this game on the XBox but after I beat it I didn't really ever touch it again. I know there are many many many many things I have yet to do in this game but I haven't felt the urge to do them. So what I am asking is since it is on a sale today would it be worth picking up on Steam?

Also, I love Fallout 3, Morrowind, Oblivion, etc.

Also, are any of the DLC's good?

all of them, in my opinion :P well, I don't like dead money that much but it's worth it for how it ties in to the other DLC's.

that is to say, I love the story in dead money, and the voice acting, but I don't much like the gameplay of it (takes all your weapons etc)

If you didn't feel the urge to do much in the game beforehand, why spend money on the same game that will probably be untouched on your Steam library after some playtime then? I mean, It's the same game on all platforms, except slightly better graphics and resolution, and mod support on the PC. Just because it's on sale doesn't mean you should buy it.

Absolutely. Get some DLCs to go along with it if more good ol' NV isn't quite enough for you to get back into it. Oh, and mods.

I bought it in and all the DLC in the sale despite already owning the main game on 360 and I'm having a lot of fun. The DLC it pretty fun (i've only done HH so far) and you level up really fast in them.

I bought it on steam, opened console, scaled myself to 10.0 walked around like the iron giant for about 30 seconds, the game crashed.

    Money well spent.

@Soap: I opened the console and set run to 12. I run like The flash but unfortunately so did the enemies. Which makes non V.A.T.S combat very interesting.

With all the mods I have installed the is barely recognizable as Fallout. I never used VATS in New Vegas so when I found a mod that removed the VATS perks and replaced them with general combat perks, I was so happy.
