    NVIDIA 8800 GTS 320 MB
    3 GB RAM
    Intel Core 2 Duo 6320 @ 1.86 GHz

Is it worth it to get it on PC with these specs or should I just get the PS3 or 360 version?

I think the processor may hold you back significantly but I can't say for sure, especially with(even though a still decent but) average card, you would be better off going with console imo.

Yeah, I've had this thing kicking since May 2007.

Maybe it's time to upgrade some stuff. Disappointing, considering shooters on PC are (imo) superior.

Your processor sucks, but I still think worst case scenario you run it on low with a smooth FPS. You could probably take medium.

I prefer them on PC too, especially when they are lead developed on PC, and farcry being a big detailed game just overall looks the best on it by far. Still all versions look good, I just would definitely say with your specs there taking the risk of purchasing the game just to have it not run too well is pointless, I mean..yes it could definitely run, just probably not on even as good of visuals as consoles without killing performance with those specs.

Alright, thanks guys. I'll probably get it on PS3 or 360. I'll look at processors and cards soon.

Probably wise to do,  looking at your specs your CPU is going to hold you back the most, open world games of this kind rely heavily on the CPU.... And your right, they do pown on PC  :P

IMO gameplay is more important than the visuals. I'd buy the PC version. You'll be able to run it smoothly on some setting or other.

It would be a good idea to upgrade, though. More video ram and a faster processor would go a long way, and shouldn't cost too much.
