I really enjoyed Far Cry 2 a lot, the way in which the open world worked in this game was great for many reasons but I just feel that the ending was a betrayal of the nature of the game.

The main theme I got from the game and the missions was this whole grey area where your actions were neither noble or evil. You were just focused on your main objective, the ending however gives you no choice but decides that you are going to become the great saint Hakim Echebbi and forget about the mission that has driven you through battle across this African nation.

With all the freedom you are given in all other areas of the game, a bit of freedom in character development would have been nice.
