My agieng 6870 can't run this game maxxed. What settings should I turn off or lower to get most performance with the least obvious visual downgrades. I am also asking this in a general sense of any game which you cannot Max out what settings should be lowered for the best lookinge cperienec.

i would put everything to lowest and then increase until it became unplayable.

Shadows generally trog down performance, I would use the optimal setting and then turn down even farther what the system has automatically detected as the lowest.

Turn off V Sync made the game run smooth at 60 FPS when I turned it off and there really isn't much screen tearing.

Im using a Q6600 and a GTX560ti and if I turn off anti-aliasing and all the DirectX 11 stuff the game runs really smooth even with all the other settings maxed out.

I have no experience with this game yet, but usually turning off AA is the first thing to do. Shadows and shaders are usually quite GPU heavy as well if there are any such options. Turning off V sync can help, but fuck screen tearing if there is any.
