did i miss something in the story or was there really an extra character within the group who was never acknowledged. in case you don't know who i'm referring to, he's in that intro movie at the beginning and in a few of those flashback sequences at the club. he wears a beanie, sunglasses, and i think a hoodie, and although he appears to be with the group, he's never mentioned. i'm really hoping this was an actual mistake because that would be fucking hilarious to think that there were so many unnecessary, expository characters that the writers just straight up forgot to write one of them into the story line.

In the beginning, Vaas says he cut up one of your friends. I'm guessing that was him.
