Farore, Goddess of Courage, is one of three Hyrule creators, with the other two being her sisters Din, Goddess of Power, and Nayru, Goddess of Wisdom. She is credited with the creation of all Hylian life, and is commonly associated with the color green. Like her sisters, Farore left her piece of the Triforce in the Sacred Realm upon leaving. In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Link can learn the magic spell Farore's Wind, named after her. When cast, it creates a warp point wherever Link was located at the time, which Link can later warp back to as desired.
Farore's cameo appearances range from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, where there is a statue in her honor, to Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where Zelda can cast Farore's Wind (she envelops herself in a green, diamond shaped cocoon).
In Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages, Farore, the Oracle of Secrets appears inside the Maku tree and takes care of passwords used to transfer items between the two games. Unlike Din and Nayru, Farore does not have a role in the storyline of these games.
Farore appears alongside Din and Nayru in a minor role in The Minish Cap.
