Possible bug with hidden door?

This has something to do with a hidden door in the waterfall area.

I'm at the "moon-door" that only shows at night. I found the right code on the internet, more than one place even. I've already opened the waterfall door, but can't enter. I'm on New Game + and have the glasses.

And i've been trying 10-15 times now, at night to make it open. However, it doesn't work! Am I supposed to do something else before trying? Help!

Nevermind, after 5-6 more tries it worked. Seemed the controller is just over sensitive

The door should automatically open after you enter the code... That might be bug as sad as that sounds. Have you tried entering it at dawn or sunset ( not sure which one the code shows up in )?
