Well I don't know if you watched the new video IGN had up but the picture the guy put in there seemed to match pretty damn good! I will have to use the upload website cause I don't have the cam. But it looks like its a lot better than the Rainbow Vegas one.

Yeah, but they could have easily faked that. If its as good as it shows and you can use them online...expect too see lots of Hitler boxers, bush boxers, or even Britney Spears boxers!
I would assume that to be the second one, but it'd be easier to tell if we saw the entire body. It's hard to tell if that's a small head on a big body.
I know I made mine and it apparently made me a black man, and quite honestly didn't resemble me at all. It had my features, but on a 10 year old's face. I also had a small head on a giant body. I'm gonna mess around with it some more today and hopefully get it to look right.

if the head is too small or the skin color is wrong, why not just go in and make the head bigger and change the skin color?
@CL60: Yeah I tried all that, but in the end what's the point of downloading an image if I am going to be editting it up to make it look more like me? I think it's more because It's incredibly weird to see something similiar to what I look like on the game. Widening the face out sounds simple enough, but there's so many damn sliders it's just as easy to create one without downloading a picture. But I guess it's a damn good template to start off with. The color thing was easy to fix though, I must of had lighting problems when I took the picture.
Jeff's looks really good though, comparatively speaking, so maybe having the eye-cam thing is your best bet.
I'd be really interested to see an in depth look at how powerful this feature is. Or at least a picture with a side by side of the original picture and finished in-game product.

OK, here's what I came up with. I made Apollo Creed and used the uploader on EA Sports World. It wasn't easy finding pictures that were 'exactly' the format they wanted, so I used a modern picture of Carl Weather's and a youtube screenshot of him playing Apollo Creed.

Generated picture with no slider adjustments. I did change the skin color to match and gave him an afro, but I forgot to add the mustache until the final shot
Not bad, definitely took off the 30 years he aged from the modern picture
After I messed with the sliders:
Not much of a change, but I did a bunch of subtle things to adjust it as best I could
Bear in mind the quality of the originals was working against me, but as I said earlier they are probably best for using as a template. Also, I used my cellphone to take the pics from the T.V. so bad quality should be my new username. ;-)
Hope this helps, it's the best I could do with the resources I have. In my opinion, up close and on my T.V it looks like him, but that's because I want it to.
Oh and here's the final product of my hard work ;P
It might not be perfect, but it's still very cool. It's the first time I've ever seen a game do this, so even though it might not work flawlessly, it's only going to get better with time.
