So, I just ordered "The Art of Final Fantasy IX" off of Amazon, and I was wondering if anyone here has it? If so, was it worth the purchase?

Yeah, I definitely liked it. It could have been better organized and include a bit more character work but I've had it for many years now and I have not regretted it.

I don't have it, it looks like an ok game.

I was tempted but I only get a very brief kick out of that sort of stuff. Besides, if I want the art, I'll play the game so I can get the story and music with it too.

I have the book and absolutely love it. It's a pretty decent size and is full of stuff, the enviroment sketches in particular are fantastic. There are also a few things in there that where left out of the final game which is interesting. Definitely worth a purchase if you liked the game or are in to concept art.
