Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a video game that consists of 3 releases




Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is an isometric turn-based strategy game for the Game Boy Advance. You take the role of a young boy on a mission to return to his home world after accidentally being sucked into the magical world of Ivalice through a mysterious book.
Story
A young boy named and his younger brother who is handicapped move to a new town. When attends school he finds himself a few friends. Ritz and Mewt become his close friends. One day Mewt buys an old book from a used bookstore and quickly takes it to Marche’s house. He has no idea that the Book is actually a doorway into another world. And the story begins to get interesting when the young hero wakes up and realizes he is not in his own world anymore. He than sets off in search of his friends and to find a way home.
Main Characters
These are the important story characters.
Marche
He is the hero of the story. You can actually change his name to whatever you want. He is a boy with a one track mind.
Doned
Marche’s younger brother. He is a sickly boy who is confined to a wheel chair but when in the magical world of Ivalice he is completely healthy.
Ritz
A young girl who become Marche’s friend at school. She is headstrong and quite bossy. She is teased at school a lot because she dyes her hair pink because it's naturally white.
Mewt
A quiet boy who gets bullied a lot at school. Marche and Ritz come to his aid and become his friends. He is the one who find the book that transports them all to Ivalice.
Montblanc
A friendly moogle who helps Marche when he magically appears in Ivalice.
Nono
He runs a store out of an Airship. When his Airship is attacked you come to help him.
Shara
A viera who is friends with Ritz. She has white hair and tries to make Ritz see that having white hair is a blessing.
Ezel Berbier
An eccentric Nu Mou who finds away around the Laws. He is the creator of Anti-Laws.
Babus Swain
Is an assistant of Prince Mewt.
Cid
Is Mewt’s father. And in the magical land he is the Judge Master. He is also Prince Mewt’s protector.
Is the darker side of Mewt. He takes over Cid’s position when Cid decides to leave the palace.
Queen Remedi
A reincarnation of Mewt’s dead mother.
Races
There are Five races that live in the world of Ivalice. And each race also has a special power called a Totema.
Humans
They are the most plentiful of all the races. They are extremely versatile and very flexible when it comes to jobs. There Totema is Mateus.
Moogles
They are small, cute and friendly. This race also is quite intelligent and gifted. There Totema is Framfrit.
Nu Mou
They have very distinct canine features. The Nu Mou hold intelligence in high regard and thus really prefer to avoid physical confrontation. There Totema is Ultima.
Bangaa
They are a lizard like race that really enjoys physical combat. There Totema is Adrammelech.
Viera
This is a race of swift female. They have rabbit like qualities. They tend to stay in there Woods but since they live a long time they do venture out in curiosity. There Totema is Exodus.
Jobs
Each race can change there job class. But they are limited to certain classes.
Human Classes
Soldier
A common fighting class.
Paladin
A holy knight who fights for the weak.
Fighter
A stronger version of the Soldier.
Thief
A nimble fingered pick pocket.
Ninja
A very stealthy class.
White Mage
A healer type class.
Black Mage
A class that use black magic.
Illusionist
A magical class that has spells that hit all enemies.
Blue Mage
A class that learns monster skills by having them used on them.
Archer
A class that uses bows.
Hunter
A more skilled archer.
Moogle Classes
Black Mage
A class that uses Black magic.
Time Mage
A magic user that is skilled in time manipulation.
Animist
A friend of animals who calls them to help in battle.
Mog Knight
A strong fighting class.
Gunner
A class that uses guns instead of bows.
Thief
A nimble fingered pick pocket.
Juggler
A class that like to throw items at the enemy to inflict status
aliments along with damage.
Gadgeteer
A class that depend on luck.
Nu Mou Classes
White Mage
A healer type class.
Black Mage
A class that uses Black magic.
Illusionist
A magical class that has spells
that hit all enemies.
Time Mage
A magic user that is skilled in Time manipulation.
Alchemist
This class specializes in making items more effective.
Beastmaster
A class that can learn to control
monsters.
Morpher
Are shape shifter who can take
the form of monsters.
Sage
A versatile class that can cast White and Black Magic.
Bangaa Classes
Warrior
Is a common fighting class for Bangaa.
Dragoon
A spear fighting class.
Defender
Is much like the Human Paladin class.
Gladiator
An upgraded version of the Warrior.
White Monk
A fighting class that can banish the Undead.
Bishop
This is the only magic class
available for the primarily physical
attacking Bangaa.
Templar
A class that is good at using Spears and knight swords.
Viera Classes
White Mage
A healer type class.
Fencer
A class that uses a light weight foil to attack.
Elementalist
They harness the power of nature
and use it to strike there enemies.
Red Mage
A class that can use both White and Black Magic.
Summoner
They have the power to summon
spirits from long ago.
Archer
A class that uses bows.
Assassin
A class that teaches you deadly arts.
Sniper
The best archer the world has ever seen.
