If it's any consolation that ad is pretty lame.

To be fair the commercial isn't claiming it's only coming to Xbox 360 only. It's just advertising from Microsoft, so I don't see why they would tell you it's also on PS3.

Sony has been notoriously bad at advertising. They should throw them out for a crew of spastic monkeys. 

They're probably putting their advertising money on Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which is a PS3 exclusive. Not that I really care, I'm only getting the XB release anyway.

Sony's advertising has got better. But for this commercial I'm not really surprised, given that Square-Enix wants to get a better penetration in the Western market. So logically it makes sense that the 360 is it's catalyst for FFXIII in NA, since it's the more favoured system. 

But I think this will just end up being like the Assassins Creed 2 commercials, there was one with only PS3 at the end and another with only 360.

They do this with plenty of games. I do believe here in the UK -- Assassins Creed got the Playstation branding with no nod to this being on 360 a couple weeks ago

Where the hell does it say "Xbox 360 only"? It's an ad for the special edition console bundle which is an MS product. You really expect them to say "Oh yeah, it's on the PS3 too FYI" in their own commercial?

...how is advertising a 360 game...wrong?
 
Dante's inferno has any one seen the ad's for this game? no where in the Sony commercial does it mention the 360, even at the end credits for the commercial it only mentions playstation 3...

It doesn't say its only for Xbox 360. Microsoft probably paid for the add so its fair enough for them to put their name on it. If Sony paid for an add then they could put their name on it.

Despite the fact that the commercial makes it look like a 360 exclusive, the demo kiosks were all PS3s:

I don't really see the problem here.  Sony do the same thing with plenty of other multiplatform games..  it just depends who funds the advertising.
People are already going to be aware of it on the PS3, Sony don't really need to hype it, unlike MS that really need to get the word out to more casual gamers.

Nowhere does it say "exclusive". Besides, that is a very shitty ad.

It was an ad funded by Microsoft, so who cares?
 
If Sony doesn't have there own version of this, then their a bunch of muppets.
 
If this game didn't sound more and more shit, everytime I read about it, i'd deffo get it for the PS3. Summons turn into vechicles? No towns? I'd rather playthrough X-2 again.
