The FFXIII Special Edition 360 Bundle will be priced at $399, it includes a 250GB hard drive, two wireless controllers, "exclusive downloadable content" and a Standard Edition copy of FFXIII.

I'll be picking this up even though the offerings are pretty unimpressive. If the XBOX 360 indent is absent like it is in the fourth picture, I'll probably just etch in something cooler than the Japanese PS3 bundle. Also, that faceplate kind of looks like a poor Photoshop job; still, I want it.

Faceplate looks bad, but the FF13 logo on the HDD is pretty cool. 

so are they going to do a bundle for every big game. cause this is starting to piss me off.

Lol, look at where the power button is positioned on the faceplate. 

I would preferred it simply having "Final Fantasy" emblazoned on the HDD.

That etching on the HDD is so nice. I definitely prefer it to a paint job. It's small and you aren't stuck with a paint job console of something you may not even like in a while. I wish I didn't already have a 360 so I can get this...

Pretty stupid that the faceplate was designed for the Xbox to be standing up, which we all know is a death sentence for your discs.

I'm actually quite fond of the Japanese Lightning edition PS3. I'm disappointed we won't get anything similar in N. America.

I have to say, I think that's pretty underwhelming after having seen the JP Lightning PS3. Not that I want a pink PS3, but a faceplate? Really? :\

Is there going to be a limited edition PS3? I'd actually buy a white Playstation 3 lol My Wii and 360 refuse to convert to black (not racist)

I'll stick with my little used 360 and get this game for the PS3 when I finally get one.

I'm not the biggest fan of having faceplates. I would prefer the whole system itself to be designed for the game. Nevertheless, I don't have the money to buy another console. My next major purchase will be for builiding a new computer.

I have my Xbox 360 standing up. Perhaps I'm just really lucky. I have yet to experience the console scratching a single DVD.

I find it odd that people buy these LE consoles with game logos on them before they know if the game is even worth it.

The white and pink?  That design was pretty horrible too.
But I would have prefered if they'd gone with something like that for the faceplate here, rather than what looks like a poor transfer.
 
I do like the engraved HDD though, and the avatar items.  Shame these will perhaps be a bit too exclusive, but I like that we're seeing more CE's coming with avatar items and themes, etc. "

if i didnt already have a xbox 360, this would be a must buy.

I love the engraving and lack of artwork, though... it has a really clean, minimalist look. Just a regular white 360 (which are still very sexy) with an engraving.  
 
As I've said before, it's better than having some ugly ass design over the console you'll be playing for years and have since forgotten about, lost or sold the game that the design is based off of. I hate the Halo 3 and MW2 Xboxes, and the White Lighting PS3 is just too much for me. Maybe if I was into anime or something but I would just want a nice plain console not a Final Fantasy XIII shrine.
