    I was wondering if anyone had a spare buddy pass for a trial? I have never played an MMO and am interested in this one. But i do not want to pay 60 bucks just to find out it sucks. (i never buy games without playing the demo first)

    Do all retail copies with a buddy pass? if so, i'll be more than happy to pass mine when i find it.

    Only the collector's edition came with a buddy pass. Also if you get your hands on a buddy pass be prepared to torrent the client as their is no official download.

    Hah, good old Enix not knowing how to run the game. 
     
    I got FFXIV from the CE, and got mixed feelings about it.  Don't do it man, not worth it right now.

    @tunaburn: Kinda sucks right now. No Auction House, and other crap.  Wait for the PS3 release so it'll be a full game, pick up the PC version for cheap then.
