Nothing too substantial here. A new mechanic character is shown, then they drive into town. Once in the town the dev switches to a dog and roams around. I like how lively the town looks in the beginning, but the areas the dog explores are completely empty. I'm guessing that'll be different when the game is done (it better be :/ )
Final Fantasy XV

FF XV Town Demo
Kind of wish Dog Mode was in the full game but oh well. Some of the town's geography didn't even appear to be finished yet, hence the green wireframe around some of the stuff, so I wouldn't be too worried about the town being empty. Especially with the amount of people shown walking about before the dog stuff, it doesn't seem like the game is going for Unity levels of density but I am guessing the town's will be adequately populated.
Looks bad, but single player FF is dead to me after 13.
Why does that mechanic not zip up her jacket, that is a hazard if you are working on cars.
It's because she knows she's being watched by potential customers. Now she can charge them more money.
I am pretty pumped for this game! Will definitely be playing in japanese with subtitles though.... the voice acting is not necessarily bad, just... overwrought or something?
So what you're saying is that it sounds like a Japanese video game!

Too cartoony for a final fantasy that has a foot placed in a slightly more realistic aesthetic. Especially the British dude and that mechanic's attempt at a southern accent.
Yeah. That mechanic girl character design is fucking awful... Like... Come on.
Sure, I could maybe deal with the zipped down jacket, but the short shorts, the boots, and the jacket being short showing her stomach? Come on!!!!!

Even if she did zip up her jacket, her stomach is completely exposed. That shop better be shut down if the workers are dressed like that. It's an accident waiting to happen.
Oh man, that's pretty neat. Dog Mode better make it into this game. They seem to have put everything else in it.

There is a version of this without the developer commentary over it?

No, my impressions are coming from the most recent trailer:
