That this game never gets released. Square need to get rid of Enix and go back to the days of working on a couple of projects at a time, instead of spreading themselves so thin that games either take forever to release after huge delays (FFXIII) end up shit (FFXIV) or never get released (This.) Instead of working on a thousand spin-offs, they should be focusing on FFXV and KH3.
I bet all my money...
I don't believe that you bet all your money on whether or not a game releases. Do you have a receipt or record of such a bet? Is there a bookie that takes non competition based bets on video game matter? What are the odds on the bet? Is there a time limit for you to win the bet? I am no gambling expert but to bet on the non release of a video game without a time limit seems quite foolish.
They probably aren't that showy with it, because they want to hype up 13-2. They would just be competing against themselves. I bet all my money that it will be at e3, and will release in late 2012 and in NA/Eur early 2013.
You're right though, they spread themselves way too thin. Their management seems pretty bad.
Dont worry the game will be realeased, they just aint showing it because theres already 2 Final Fantasy games coming out and honestly I have put my faith in this game since the first teaser in 2006, already kinda knew that it would be better than XIII.
Well anyways .... the other reason that it will take long (probably a last quarter 2012 realease), its beacause square had nomura make like 9987 other games at the same time, like a couple of Kingdom Hearts games, he worked a little at XIII too, as well some secret prjects we dont know about ( KH III please....XD) and this game is basicaly nomura game, so im confident that it will be good, but we are stiil a year away from it.
FFXIII versus-2 will get announced before this game gets released.
You know what's sad? I can say, in all honesty, this would not surprise me one bit. I can imagine near the release of Versus, they'll release a press statement saying they want to expand/continue on the first game. Normally, there's a hint of underlying humor when I say things like this, but I cannot stress how serious I am that this would literally not be a surprise.
it actually doesn't look half bad but i'm guessing we probably won't see it til late '13 in the US
what i'm wondering is if Square actually thinks this will sell well enough to warrant the time its taking
their production processes is pure shit and in desperate need of streamlining
