FFIX is my favorite. It's battle system was pretty good at the time, and it's one of the only games out there that has good character development. The only thing I hated was the random encounter music. But, it's a beautiful game.

Sorry if there is, loltima. I checked this forum for a poll, but couldn't find one. There might be one hidden away in the archives of General Discussion, I'm not sure. I just figured that the FF forum would be the best place for such a poll.

You could say that about almost every Final Fantasy game. I mean, what FF has there ever been where they DIDNT flesh out everyones background? except obviously for I and XI

There are more characters in VI and each of them (with the exception of Umaro) are fully developed... except GoGo, but that's the point of GoGo. I point you to this hilarious Newgrounds flash about GoGo: Who is GoGo?

It is super hard to choose. FF is my favorite series. I am a complete fan boy. it has always been between IV, VI, VII, and IX! Too hard to choose T_T !!!!

while FF7 was a great game, the most memorable one i played was FF6, maybe it was a mixture of how old i was when they came out and my personal tastes, but i definitely think 6 is greatest of all time

People may not like it buy my favorite FF game is XII. The new battle system was awesome and the story wasn't all teenage angst like accept for Vaun or however you spell that wieners name.

What you say is true, but my favorite is seven, and ten and eight are pretty good as well. All of them are awesome, its just that in my opinion I feel as if they made it clearer in that one.
