Mike Haggar meets his friend Guy, who has just returned from his training. Their conversation is interrupted by an explosion outside, and the two are informed by Detective Lucia Morgan that a riot has broken out in the city, started by the Skull Cross Gang. They prepare to fight the criminals, but are stopped by Dean, who offers to help them against the Skull Cross Gang because of a personal vendetta against them. Eventually, the group learns that the Skull Cross Gang has broken their leader out of jail, and are planning to take over the city.
The player can take control of Haggar and Guy, who are both returning characters from the previous games. The game also introduces two new characters, Detective Lucia and the former street fighter Dean.
The game allows for both single-player and cooperative play, either with another player or the computer.
Final Fight 3 is the third game in the Final Fight series.
Overview
With the destruction of the Mad Gear Gang following the events of the first two Final Fights, the underworld in Metro City broke out into inter fighting to fill the power vacuum.
