Has anyone ever imported a Fire Emblem game not released in English? I have only once, with Fire Emblem 6. I believe it was a good decision. Though it was a bit hard to understand, I got used to the Japanese text as the menu lay outs were all the same as in Fire Emblem 7. It was quite difficult, and an enjoyable experience.

I do what everyone that doesn't want to pay an insane price for a 6 year old GBA game that they can't read: Emulate+Translation Patch. Although of questionable legality this is the best path.

My first Fire Emblem was actually 7, and it was the japanese version. right after that I bought 6. Over the years I've been collecting some of them. I have Seisen no Keifu and Thracia 776 at home.
