Whilst I am new here, I have noticed that there is some love for Fire Emblem. For me, it would be good to declare your love so that I know who you are, we know who we are. For me, that means I can find you easy if I have a question.

Now I am a big fan, but reading some stuff, there are at least a couple of people here who are truly hardcore. I am not in their league. I first played the GBA Fire Emblem and was from thereon a fan forever. It is probably my number one franchise and a game I would buy a system just to play. I continued on with Sacred Stones on the GBA and then Path of Radiance on the Gamecube, followed by Radiant Dawn on the Wii and finished with Shadow Dragon on the DS. A 3DS and Wii U game cannot come quick enough.

I have not played any of the Japanese games, not because I don't want to, but because I haven't got a single clue how to (any tips of forum appreciated). It is a pity the series doesn't sell as well as it should, it is very under appreciated. Everyone should give them a go and see for themselves.

So who is on the team? Remember, if you die, you die forever!

We could do with a leader, our King so to speak, or Queen. I am mere cannon fodder, so it shan't be me. Nominations will be taken!

i'm not a huge fan but i definitely like it a lot and i remember being pretty engrossed in the GC one (though i can't remember any of the story right now except something about racism against the people who could change into cat-things)

i'm onboard though, and can't wait for Awakening in 2013!!

Yes, the sub-human issue. Stupid Beorc!

They certainly were not all that subtle in the story of racism, but it is still very well done. I teared up a little in that game, especially when a certain character's father died!

The thing about the series that strikes me the most is my absolute refusal to let a character die. I don't care how many times I have to re-do the chapter, I will get though without a loss, even the annoying characters,

I don't mind if you guys start a fan club. That blog was originally for wiki editors, but I thought I was segregating the wiki editors from bloggers which is bad for our little community.

I know I am a little late to the party, but is it alright if I can join this site's unofficial Fire Emblem club?

I have played the GBA games and the 3DS games, but I am most familiar with the most recent release, Fire Emblem Fates (Birthright > Conquest > Revelation in that order).
