A highly-acclaimed game that allows players to control the wind and collect flower petals while exploring a lush, colorful environment. Its innovative gameplay often seeks to create a soothing and relaxing experience through a combination of visuals and audio to complement the narrative.
Nope, it was funded by Sony. In the strictest sense, indie should be that it is independent of any huge company backing it. Clerks was an indie film seeing as Kevin Smith paid for it, Chasing Amy isn't since they got the budget from the Weinstein Company. El Mariachi was indie sine Robert Rodriguez and his friends paid for it, Pulp Fiction isn't cause it had Lawrende Bender footing the bill with Mramax's backing.
Sure it has the trappings of an indie game, but you can't compare it to The Marriage, Fez, Owlboy or even Bob's Game seeing they are self funded endeavours with out corporate ties behind them. Hell, Braid is indie seeing as it's funding came from Jonathan Blow.
