So this is getting a sequel.

This first game was bland. Hopefully they change it up a bit.

I didn't really care that much about Afro Samurai either way. It's odd that it's getting a new game at this point, though.

I remember Afro Samurai and had a moderate amount of enjoyment from the demo when I first got my 360.

I was really hoping this would be about the television show.

Both the anime and the game were average. I hope the sequel is better.

Never played that game, but I kind of always wished I would've. Would it be worth going back too at this point?

@liquidsnakegfer9: Its pretty alright, especially for the price it'll be which should be real cheap anywhere. The graphics are stylized enough that they still look kind of cool and when you get to chopping up people juuuuuuuuust right it's super fun. But it can be repetitive sometimes and is unfairly hard, like, it wasn't tested well enough type of hard where you get in a tough boss fight where you are mostly failing due to the game not explaining itself well enough rather then them building a good boss fight. But that being said it's alright, has some great moments, but has super shit moments to, 5 bucks used wouldn't be a bad price for it though.

That game was ok. The best part was the soundtrack.

@zolroyce: Huh, idk if I feel like digging out my ps3 though. If there was a pc version I would probably be more into getting it.

@crithon: Nope. I don't think it's aired since the year it first came out. There was a mini-series and a sequel in the form of a TV movie called Resurrection. Resurrection had all the style of the mini-series (looked beautiful, music was bumpin, had great action) but the story/plot was some hot-ass-hot fucking garbage.

@babychoochoo: well, most of the animation team works on Black Dynamite and Boondocks, and they are busy with that.

i kind of liked the game. enough to S-Rank it anyway.

Never got the chance to play that game, but I watched my friend play it and there was this cool moment at the end where he thought Justice was dead and the headbands power was just a myth.

I hope the third part of the story comes soon.

All I remember about the first one is Monty Oum (Haloid, Dead Fantasy) worked on it.

I really liked the anime (ecpecially the first one), but have not played the game. I have to say I'm curious about this one.

I liked the original anime enough, but the game was beyond boring. Still don't understand how something as stylized as Afro Samurai could be that bland. This seems like a mistake.

It got pretty tiresome after a while but it had some great ideas in it.

Seems like the type of game that could've led to a better sequel. Curious to see where this goes.

Yeah I liked the show at the time, but Samurai Gunn has come out and I'm okay. I have had my fill of Samurai, brutal violence, and hip hop.

Also the Afro Samurai movie was TERRIBLE!
