Hi,

I tried to search for injustice releases using /releases:

http://www.giantbomb.com/api/releases/?api_key=KEY&field_list=id,name,game,region&resource=release&filter=platform:35,name:Injustice%20Gods%20Among%20US&limit=20&sort=game

The above statement returns no releases, but this one using /search finds the game:

http://www.giantbomb.com/api/search/?api_key=2ece60a3202275370cc62b19c35f4563f66a8f7b&query=Injustice%20Gods%20among%20US&resource=game

The difference is the : after Injustice. If you search in /releases using the : after injustice, you find them, without it won't return any release.

If it won't burden you, can you please remove the need for the : character?
Maybe I can help? =]

thanks,
Jonathan

Hi,

I found that I can replace the spaces for %, so it will find anything within those words.

This game portal is AWESOME!!

thanks!!

I thought /search requests took care of special characters, as I don't recall having a problem with it. Anyway, this is great, as I search with /games (to filter by platform) and it doesn't have any special character filtering and I currently filter the string myself. This will make search much better in my app. Thanks!
