Status of the Giant Bomb API

We are pretty aware of the limitations of our API tools, but at the moment there are no short term plans to update them. We are working on some longer term (months away) plans that will likely include a full rewrite of the system in a more friendly, useful and live query format, but for the moment, the API runs as is. 
 
We know it is important for the community though, and being the only major resource for a lot of this data, we do feel a responsibility to keep it open and free. Unfortunately we need to staff up a bit to fully support it.
