A GB Quick Look of a Cricket game. Hmm. Just how much about cricket does the GB staff know? You know what? Never mind that, I guess Jeff and Vinny can stumble along for some hilarious sports club quick looking.
Upcoming Quick Look...
They know zero about it (as does any American), and that's exactly the point.
Hell, I had to look up "cricket" on Wikipedia just to be sure which one it was. Turns out that cricket and croquet are not the same thing. Who knew?

cannot wait to watch more of this, I especially like when the fielder loses his mind and walks into shot and starts wondering around the stumps.
As somebody who genuinely loves Cricket I look forward to this QL immensely, listening to Jeff and Vinny talk about Cricket (something I assume they know nearly nothing about) while playing a HORRIBLE cricket game is going to be absolutely hilarious.
I was just about to make a thread on this when I saw the upcoming. Take a FIFA or a PES sports team Quick Look and multiply that by 'This is like Baseball right?' and what do we have? Tomorrows Quick Look, that's what. This shall be a glorious day for all.

it's horrible? what a bummer.
Everything I know about cricket I learned from Hitchhiker's Guide and stereotypical British characters saying that various things are "just not" it.
In fact, I operate under the impression that wide swaths of the average British person's time is spent telling people what is and what is not cricket. Turns out there are quite a lot of things that aren't. (mind you, my best friend that I've known for over a decade now is Australian, and to this day I choose to believe that he eats nothing but vegemite and prawns after a hard day of tracking crocodiles and wallabies, so I may not be the best source of reliable cultural behavior information)

News to me. I'm looking forward to this educational Quick Look.
I watched some Cricket in England. It wasn't all that complicated, I just didn't care enough to remember what I learned.

Did you see any junglers?

Knowing nothing about a game hasn't stopped them from Quick Looking things before...

Seriously?! This is going to be great. I bet Drew is secretly into Cricket and will run the show. That or he has delved deep recently.
Surely it can't be as bad as our play in the first test.
Apparently the real reason Trotty left Oz was to appear at the launch party.
Vinny & Jeff stumbling their way through sports games that they know nothing about is always funny. But on top of that, Ashes Cricket 2013 is completely broken. It's been pulled from Steam and Valve are offering refunds because the game is "not fit for purpose". It has been in development for ages, delayed several times and it sounds like they just said "fuck it, ship it" and have released a completely broken game. Which should make the QL even more hilarious.
Also, to those who don't know what cricket is, this should explain everything. It's a funny & entertaining read if you know what cricket is, too.

If serious, be on the look out for Don Bradman cricket by Big Ant Games - that's supposed to be very good. If you're joking, disregard this comment, it's early.
@candlejakk: i saw a poster for that the other day! i got my xbox from the eb in swanston st in melbourne, and apparently they are having the debut there or something?
i've been kind of worried about ashes though because it was meant to come out in june and then it just.... didn't. haha.
There have been some decent cricket games, most of them suck though.
This one looks like it falls into the latter.
This is going to be great.
I hope it is. This has potential.
As someone who had a lot of cricket inflicted upon them as a child, I'm not sure even the dynamic duo of Jeff and Vinny will be able to make this watchable.
