Any bets on when Assassin's Creed Rogue comes to PS4/XBOne

It seems sort of disappointing that AC IV was on all systems, but Rogue will only be on last generation. I assume when they feel they have pushed AC Unity enough for current generation they will allow for Rouge to be retooled for current gen, but when do we think that would happen?

As early as this holiday, 2014?
Spring/Summer 2015?
Holiday 2015?

I'd be surprised if it didn't show up Q1. That would give Unity some breathing room while still keeping it far away from next year's game.

I'm gonna say Summer 2015 so that they can fill out the usual drought.

I hope it does, as it actually sounds pretty interesting and I like the idea of ship travel in those environments.

It is not coming to next gen period. Unity is being built from the ground up for next gen. Rogue is not. However I'm am sure that Sony will let you rent it on Now.

I would hope it would come out with DLC included.

They released Liberation on consoles.

Agree with those who say summer 2015. I don't think there is any doubt it will come out for PS4/Xbox one.

And after seeing some game play from EGX, I will definitely be buying it. Love the location.

I expect it probably will, presumably it's running on the same tech that powered AC4 so the port would probably not involve a lot of unknowns.

I don't know but it will probably be announced shortly after I get around to buying it for PS3.

it all matters when the audience is big enough to make ports worth it. Best example Prince of Persia 3 ports on Wii.

I do hope a port comes, I would certainly play it. The QL scene when Adewale and Achilles talk hit that nostalgia nerd nerve exactly as Ubi planned it. Anyway, everyone is thinking that it will be spring to hit the dead zone between AC games, but don't forget that AC: Liberation HD was released less than 3 months from AC 4, and the port was even announced at the same E3 as the AC4 demo, if I remember correctly.

While I would welcome a surprise Winter port, with the need to go back and work on Unity, summer/spring is more likely. With that said, I would not be surprised if it wasn't until early 2016.

I know this is an old post, but this really makes no sense. What does Unity have to do with porting Rogue over? Rogue is a sequel to AC4, reusing a lot of assets of a game that was already on next gen.

As a free good will gesture for the Unity debacle with any luck.
