You'll need a vario-toaster (large opening with clamps adapting to the format of the sliced bread at hand), then toast two slices stacked up on each other. The outer sides will be real nice and toasty crisp, the inner sides will be all moist and fragrant, like freshly baked bread. Works with any kind of sliced bread or toast.
I like the crispy sides buttered and on the inside, giving the sandwich structure, adding the toasty roasted flavours, and the moist and fragrant sides on the outside.
