i'd really like to hear a bombcast all on the last gen with them talking about the consoles and the big games that came out. What do you guys think of this?
I wouldn't mind seeing this too. When the duders upstairs built the feature making thingy (for staffers to do site features like the GOTY) one of the guys (I think coonce) asked for suggestions for features we'd like to see. Perhaps they could do a "Best of Last Gen" feature, and do a special bombcast on it. That would be cool.
I think this is a good idea but I doubt it will happen. The team are (rightly so) too invested in the current to be taking time out to try and remember what happened years ago.
Thank god they got the archives, I tried staying with the new HotSpot because I like Brendan Sinclair but when they brought that annoying guy Tom McShae on the show as a regular I just couldn't force myself to listen anymore.
Which is a shame 'cause Brain Ekberg's on it sometimes and FromTheBleachers was an awesome podcast.
Hotspot is your friend although even that only started in 2005, so it's like the tail end of last gen. The problem with them doing a retro bombcast is it would be way too "wink wink" to be good.
