I pray to any entity with power to influence reality that I am never actually required to make this decision.
BOMBCAST vs LOST
I probably would enjoy LOST, but it hasn't been crammed down my throat by friends or acquaintances, so I haven't invested in it.
I listen to the Bombcast the following morning/afternoon. So, Lost.
Also, it's almost on. Shittin' my pants.
LOST got too dumb for me after the first season.
Then I watched an episode of it a couple years ago and there were ghosts and then the island moved because of a wood wheel in the basement.
What.
" LOST got too dumb for me after the first season. It's the polar opposite to Heroes. In Heroes, nothing happens. In Lost, everything happens twice.
Then I watched an episode of it a couple years ago and there were ghosts and then the island moved because of a wood wheel in the basement.
What. "
" LOST got too dumb for me after the first season. This sums up what I think of Lost
Then I watched an episode of it a couple years ago and there were ghosts and then the island moved because of a wood wheel in the basement.
What. "
The bombcast duder
" I only saw one episode of LOST and I had no idea what the hell was going on. Everything I've heard sounds interesting, but I really just cannot get into it. "Sounds like you've really invested yourself in trying to enjoy it.
I mean that in a jokey sense, so don't get all up ons.
But yeah, as a hardcore lostie, I can say that enjoying and understanding the show is work, but that's really no different than making it through something like Demon's Souls (which, for reference when they write my biography, I do not enjoy or understand).
" I'm surprised a lot of people chose Bombcast. Just saying cause you can listen to it at anytime and anywhere. But Lost is only on once a week on one channel at one time. "To be fair, you can stream the episode of Lost on ABC.com at any point during the week.
But the Bombcast is guaranteed entertainment. Lost is only promised entertainment. Often, that promise is not fulfilled.
" Lost is fucking stupid. Fuck J.J. Abrams and his "velvet-lined suitcase" theory. "It's funny because Abrams has had almost nothing to do with the show since season 1, as in not a big role as others at all.
Anyway, I listen to the bombcast while i'm traveling and such so Lost currently.
Most telling quote thus far: "Man, we're still talking about Mass Effect when we should be talking about Aliens vs Predator."
What? How is this even a choice? The Bombcast entices me. Everything I have seen of Lost repulses me. Fuck that show and its refusal to explain anything.
I can't give a very serious vote because I've only seen portions of one or two episodes of Lost... during the portions I saw nothing of note happened.
I've also been reading about how many holes there are in the plot and how many questions they've caused the audience to ask that they'll never have any time to answer or wrap up. I don't think I could be a fan of the show because that would drive me nuts. From listening to people discuss the show and break it down it really does sound like they were just making things up as they went along with little to no continuity.
woohooo lost! I've been bloggin about it on here. Nobody noticed, but y'know. it's fun. sighhh..
Anyways, Lost is never as confusing as people make it out to be. You just have to actually watch it. Most of what happens they do actually explain, they just don't treat you like an idiot. Which annoys people i guess? Whatever. Thank god Lost and the Bombcast aren't mutually exclusive. Although they are both on tuesdays now....
Haha.
I like the Bombcast and all, but it's not like it's one of the best forms of spoken entertainment in the history of the medium. On the other hand, Lost is one of the best Television series of all time.
Lost by a mile, and I love the bombcast. You guys who say you don't like Lost just aren't that into either science fiction or slowly developing plots (Lost really goes by at a crawl).
You know what? I'm going with Lost. Bombcast I can download and listen when I like. So if I had to choose which would be my only source of frivolous for a Tuesday I'm going with Lost. Then Bombcast on Wednesday.
I haven't listened to a Bombcast episode since the first one =/
I've watched every episode of Lost and even I get confused sometimes.. still awesome though
I have never seen more than half a show of lost and I feel that I don't need to so Bombcast all the way.
