Do you want Patrick Klepek to become a regular member of the Bombcast?

Would be great to have him pop in from time to time. Patrick's news segment on the old 1up podcasts was really informative. He works well on a podcast format, but 5 dudes could be too much, which is why he would be good guest, when someone else is out doing video gamez business.

I need to hear him first. Once he's on as a guest I'll cast my vote one way or the other.

Not every week, but it would be great to have him on for a fair amount of the time.

I think 5 people is probably too many for a weekly podcast.

Sure. 5 seems like the max number of people you can fit on a podcast before things get all crazy but he was great on G4's Feedback or whatever it was called. Also the Bombcast never really has "guest" unless one of the main guys won't be in. So it will likely never get past 5 and this gives some cushion in numbers when ryan has another kinect injury, jeff goes off on assignment, or brad......passes out/walks out mid-way though some crazy conversation.

Sidebar - Does the introduction of Klepek finally mean that the season for keeps is officially over? Season 4 on the horizon people.

Also, I predict about a 70% increase in endurance run related post soon followed by a 1000% bitch fest if Klepek ended up on it. I HAVE SPOKEN.

Stand-in maybe but not regularly. But it's the crew's decision in the end. I'll be fine as long as the core guys are all there - and hopefully Dave will still be on the cast here and there. MOAR DAVE!

Rarely are Ryan, Vinny, Jeff and Brad all together on the same episode anymore (at least one always seems to be out on assignment). He'd be a great "6th Man," so to say.

Well it seems to be more and more common that one of the guys are away somewhere ... he's be a good filler-in for sure. There's no Alex for that any more. 

He can be a guest but I don't think it would feel right if he was a regular, it always has to be Vinny, Jeff, Ryan and Brad, FOREVER!

Any new insight, way to change it up from time to time can't hurt.

I'm still not even sure who the guy is, or what he sounds like or anything. I don't think I've ever heard of him before it was announced that he'd be working at Whiskey Media. 

I honestly have never seen or heard him before, so I don't know.

I don't care because the Bombcast is always awesome no matter who's on it. As long as a few of the regular crew is around they always steer the podcast in the right direction.

The very nature of Giant Bomb's greatness is its willingness to re-invent itself on the fly.  Klepek might at a dash of seriousness to the Bombcast festivities, but it could very well be for the better.  Give it a try at least.

I'll give him a shot for a few episodes, although I think he will do better on his own video segment.

No, I don't. I liked him on the two livecasts I've seen him in, but 5 is getting too crowded. Having him as a "guest" or replacement every once and then would be enough.

I actually like it when the cast rotate roles e.g. last week with Dave and Jeff hosting was awesome. I think when Jeff is running the show he is more in control of his ranting and has a more neutral opinion which I really enjoy!

I really enjoyed Patrick on the G4 podcast/webshow when he was on.  The only requirement is that he mentions bonerjam at least once a podcast.

I'd be happy with a "recurring guest" position. At this point you can't permanently change anything on the Bombcast without causing a shitstorm.

No. A ever once in a while guest would be alright.

I think that the people who say five voices talking over each other is too much are forgetting that Brad doesn't really speak as much as the others. I think they could easily fit another person in there without having to take away Brad, because Brad is way too awesome not to be on the Bombcast. I don't understand all the hate for Brad!!
