Does Ryan know jack about Lost and Damned

So, on the bombcast last tuesday, Ryan mentioned that in Lost and Damned Johnny's ex, Ashley, is then same methed up girl you in the street in Niko's story. I feel like Ashley isn't the same Methed up girl, but just another Methed up girl on the LC streets.

So my questions are...

• Is Ashley that same girl or was Ryan wrong?
• Why are there so many Methed up girls on the streets of Liberty City?

• It's been a while since I've played through GTA4 but I do think it's the same Ashley. Writers tend to avoid using the same names more than once to avoid confusion. But the only sure way to tell is to play through that mission again and see if it's the same character model, or listen for a mention her full name, Ashley Butler.
• Liberty City is really just an impressively accurate fictional version of New York. So the better question is, why are there so many drug abusers in our world?

I'm pretty sure it is the same Ashley, after all it would fit in with the storyline too.

Yeah, she hangs out with Ray Boccino, in L&D she tells Johnny that Ray is a guy she's only 'friends' with, then you do missions for him...Ryan is correct.

Except, that's not what he was talking about. Ashley appeared in a cutscene with Ray Boccino in the original game very briefly.
