I would not say that their voices are, "lesser", I just have a thing for Brad's. I get weak at the knees, a tear comes to my eye, and my senses are sharpened. It's quite magical to be honest. And if this is starting to sound the least bit homosexual, It's not. Sorta.               heh...
#9 Posted by capitanm1 (205 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

Best voice for a podcast. Kind of funny how he is the smallest guy though.

What are you talking about, Jeff, Ryan, and Vinny got six packs. I think Vinny was in the 300 movie, thats why we haven't heard from him before GB.

Definitely saw him, I'm pretty sure he was one of the Persians though.

And yeah back on topic, I really find that the combination of sideburns, and that almost baritone voice, makes Brad a deadly force to be reckoned with.

Hahaha no way man, you can never take a topic like Brad Shoemaker's voice too far.. It just keeps going.

That reminds me of the first time I heard Brad's voice, way back on The Hotspot.. *sigh*

But there are no ladies on the interwebs...

I have to agree.  Brad's voice gives life meaning again.  You get a picture of what a person looks like when you hear their voice but don't see them, and I got everybody on the podcast wrong.

#25 Posted by Smallerz (119 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

A voice that good shouldn't be legal. It's awesome.

#26 Posted by Dalai (6268 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

He's the Barry White of gaming, Brad Shoemaker is.

#27 Posted by Manks (836 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

Who doesn't love Brad's voice?  It's amazing.

#28 Posted by Suicrat (3733 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

Brad's voice is simply bad-ass. No other way to describe it.

#29 Posted by TheGTAvaccine (2883 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

I'd marry it if I could.

#31 Posted by Proofplayer (19 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

Ill go out on a limb and say....ryan davis has a cool voice...and laugh.

#32 Posted by pause422 (6072 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

Brad's voice would  one shot K.O Chuck Norris! ,its that wonderful. As Ryan said in one of the earlier podcasts "The Soothing sounds,of Mr. Brad Shoemaker, smooth jazz brad himself!"

#33 Posted by thefjk (130 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

Brad, you should get your own MIC... cuz Jeff and Ryan were hogging the mics on the E3 coverage videos and your awesome voice wasn't heard much.

Brad has a cool voice for sure. If I was gay... yeah I send a few winks his way. (now I dont know if gay or not !?!?!? )

#44 Posted by Suicrat (3733 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

I like 99X's idea, so will further it as a way of bumping this thread: Brad's voice is what every bass (standup AND electric) aspires to be.

#45 Posted by Hughes (387 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

On the next Bombcast: Brad singing Barry White songs.

#46 Posted by Mattzz10 (496 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

They all have great "Radio" voices.

#47 Posted by MartinG (144 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

Mr. Shoemaker has a golden voice indeed but the whole crew is very pleasant to listen to.

Let's hope that Mr. Shoemaker doesn't contract a case of megalomania...
