Well, not exactly, but at 34.20 of this week's podcast Video Games Rodkin and the gang claim their stake to the name "Scoops", wizards, and pitch a decent idea for a t-shirt.

I've thought this for a while about the 'wizard' thing when GB was making a big deal about it. Also 'Cool Baby' tea leaved from My Brother My Brother and Me.

They've been using the word "scoops" for ages. They also had wizard jokes before the Bombcast did, and theirs isn't even similar to GB's.

Patrick's held it for a while, but I think it'd be a big relief and things would be a lot less tense if he just let go.

After so long, I don't even know if Steve wants it to fall back on him (I'd personally like to see that) but it definately seems confusing and wrong to pick up Scoops just because nobody's using it. On that I think we can all agree.

When I heard this weeks podcast I KNEW someone would make thread about it on these forums!

But they do have a point. Idle Thumbs was indeed years ahead to call someone Scoops. Hot scoops. I think Patrick can be Tricky instead (even though I actually think he deserve the nick Scoops). For to be honest, when I heard "scoops" on Giantbomb the first time I almost directly thought about Idle Thumbs. The talked a short while about wizzards to but I don't think Giantbomb had made a big deal out of that.

But you know what? There is enough room on the Internet for two Scoops.
