You're crazy. I think the bombcast is still f'n awesome. There aren't as many CUUHHRAAAAZY shenanigans as there used to be I guess, but it's still so great and it's consistently funny.
Also, I'm pretty sure it's only Brad's voice that makes him sound disinterested every now and then. I have a similar voice and people sometimes think I'm disinterested when talking to them when I'm not.

I actually don't mind this. Hated the change at first but then realized I rarely enjoyed the Nintendownloads section. It was only occasionally good but was very hit or miss. Most weeks none of the game descriptions were entertainingly bad.
I actually agree with you, haven't listened to the bombcast regularly for months, some of it due to time, some of it due to lack of interest. Looking forward to the E3 stuff though, that stuff is always amazing.

Yeah but then the podcast would just be them listing release dates, news (both of which are on the site) and reading email, what they've been playing is like the meat of the podcast, it's where you hear about... you know video games, and they thought of them. There wouldn't be much point in listening to the podcast without it.

I mean it's a video game podcast, it has to happen at some point during the show, and they already talk about video games, of all the segments to cut that makes the least sense because it's replacement would be literally the same thing. You can't cut out talking about games.

In my opinion, cute little kitten and puppy videos on Youtube have lost their edge recently. I mean, sure they're still fluffy and cute and cuddly, but they're just lacking that certain je ne sais quoi; that special "something" that makes them so, well, special. Maybe if they pit the kittens and puppies against bear cubs in an epic fight to the death. Or maybe if they taught the puppies to play "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" on piano, while the kittens sang the vocals.

This is what I was thinking. Making some changes would be nice. The pacing is sometimes a bit slow and drawn out.

I'm sure they'd be happy to taste test something if you sent them something they've never had. Truth is there are only so many energy drinks in existence.
And the mailbags still make an occasional appearance. Now we get more higher quality video game related content instead. I would much rather three Quick Looks than one mailbag.
Ryan has always been a cynical dick; he'll be the first to tell you that. I haven't noticed any change in his behavior, and I wouldn't want him to change either.
