One day, Ryan's head will explode from the ego boost he is getting from this. For yay, he hath an army of nerds at his command, willing to make his every whim a reality. I have to say, though, this artwork is top notch. But all I really want is to know what Vinny thought of that was so brilliant it couldn't be mentioned on the podcast.

I am having a tough time recently, i got dumped by my gf 2 weeks ago and its being tough for me but this thread got me laughing out loud, which is something I haven't done recently. For that, thank you Giantbomb Forums.

It is revealed that Lincoln is actually a self aware helicopter from the future, that the Brain of John Wilkes Booth reprogrammed with Lincoln's personality to bring about the coming of the master helicopter race. Upon realizing the irony that he himself is bringing about the enslavement of the human race is forced to destroy himself amidst a blitz through time killing any inventor who played into the creation of the helicopter.

I received my copy of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter today. The inside jacket actually says this. "Gifted with his legendary height, strength, and skill with an axe, Abe sets out on a path of vengence that will lead him all the way to the white house." I cannot wait to read this book.

Oh, we reached the point of no return on this long ago. Actually, I find it remarkably humbling that the community would jump on-board with my silly Lincoln Force idea and flesh it out in ways that I've been far too lazy to do myself.
Wait, I think I'm confusing the word "humble" with "Napoleonic". Nevermind!

Damn, I didn't know about this topic! Has anyone actually started making Lincoln Force? 'cause I just started doing some character drawings for a flash version. ^^
@Tuggah: Duder what is going on at your department? Is someone leaking shit? Variety says Uwe Boll claims he's attached to Lincoln Force movie adaptation. The Hollywood Reporter is thinking about running the piece tomorrow morning.
Right so someone has undone Lincolns great deeds and Lincoln is just kickin' it with Wilkes Boothes brain and Time Travel has been invented. SO what has happened is that some sort of mad scientist (played by i dunno erm... Mark Wahlberg) in the future has stolen John Wilkes Boothe's body, put some kinda robot/cyborg in it and sent that to undo Lincoln's great deeds.

@the_purgatory_station: I heard that was a ploy by the producers to lower the expectations for the movie then when it turns out to be the best movie since the last movie that Keanu Reeves was in.

I got permission from Ryan to put this level in a game I'm making for the soon-to-fail ipad. I'll make sure it's in the free lite version for the 3 of you who get ipads.

@FireSketch: I have a bunch of stuff up at the sites blog about the 'making of' the game so far. When the game is done on or near the ipad release I'm sending game codes to the GB fellas so they can openly mock my months of sweat and tears.
ok guys, (and I understand if noone cares cause I have no pretty pictures), I think we need to expand the scope of this game a little bit. So we already have the helicopters being evil and fucking up history part. Let's not limit this to lincoln correcting his own history though. He should be fighting helicopters and going off big ass ramps throughout history. He'll be defending FDR and Winston Churchill, stopping the helicopters from sabotaging the civilizations of antiquity, and finally quelling an alien invasion. Oh did I forget to mention that helicopters are alien lifeforms.
Also we need RPG elements such as lincoln skill trees, choosing maybe between gunnery, hat throwing, or john wilkes booth attacks (magic psychic powers). Dialogue trees as well and multiple endings going off on different possible time paths.
Art style is tricky, maybe something like TF2 would work or maybe hyper realistic would be better not sure at this point.
