Very funny stuff. Love the Patrick comments (with graphics) toward the end.
Michael Bay's Transformers Catastrophe

@Meowshi: They're both totally nonsensical stories, is what I meant, fuckbag.
Well, I can only speak for the two Rambo movies I've seen - First Blood and IV, but I wouldn't describe any of them as "nonsensical" or "mindless action". Especially in terms of First Blood. That what a movie with competent acting, political undertones, visceral action, and real emotion. Comparing a well-crafted, story-driven film like it to the Transformers movies is simply gross.
To be fair though, I've heard the Rambo movies between the two I've seen are not nearly as good.

I disagree. Greatly.
But that's movies for ya, I guess.
I haven't seen 3 and don't remember anything about 1 besides not caring, but I actually enjoyed 2. Not in the sense that it was good, or in the ironic "so bad it's good" way, I really liked that it just didn't give a fuck. It was as dumb as it possibly could be and didn't apologize for that at all. Sure, why not throw a bad college comedy into your movie about robots punching each other? Why wouldn't there be a robot heaven? And on top of that, shit transforms and blows up real good.@Swoxx said:

There, I said it.
I wish you could like posts on these forums so I could like your post.
But I like your post, and the Transformers movies.
Even if all of their criticisms are 100% accurate.
It's hard not to sound like I enjoyed it in a snaky ironic way, but I legitimately had fun watching it in the same way I legitimatley have fun playing an over-the-top video game. I can understand why people think of it as the worst thing ever, and a lot of the time they're right, but I just don't care.
As catastrophic as those movies are I actually liked the third one more than the first.
I never saw the second. Which, by the way, is kinda one of the worst things you can say about your interest in a "trilogy".
