Minor complaint about Vinny...

I will start this off with I LOVE VINNY CARAVELLA. I LOVE VINNY CARAVELLA. I LOVE VINNY CARAVELLA. If Vinny and I were gay and there were some way to make a Vinny Caravella baby, I would be in a perpetual state of nirvana for the rest of my existence.

With that said, I develop a slight eye twitch while listening to a Bombcast that contains Vinny speaking of Steam purchases. I must ask the question:

WHY THE FUCK DOES VINNY PURCHASE GAMES THAT HE ALREADY OWNS AS WELL AS GAMES THAT HE WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER PLAY?

I also purchase games i'll never play and probably already own a physical copy of. I think maybe we all have a little bit of Vinny inside of us.

When something cool is $5, it is morally illegal to not purchase it.

Am I the only person who isn't tempted by Steam sales? I want to see other people who actually set out to clear out their Steam library.

lots of people (myself) own multiple 'licenses' to the same game because we're odd.

My only gripe is that sometimes he is too racist on the bombcast.  Other times he is not racist enough.  So really, it is his inconsistent racism that I have a problem with.

Vinny is pretty much an impulse buyer.

I've bought games I've liked twice (example: I bought the GotY version of Arkham Asylum on Steam even though I bought and beat it on the 360 two years ago). I however would never buy a game I did not like twice. That's just stupid.

Vinny could be said to be a really bad consumer, or a really good consumer. It depends on whether the perspective is from any business owner ever, or his wife.

I do the same thing. I buy games on impulse even though I will never have enough time to play everything I purchase.

The explanation to all of this is that Steam and Amazon are pure evil. There is a black hole in my wallet that just feeds directly to both of those places.
